Spoons & Cranes

It’s taken me long enough but I have at last got round to updating my locomotive gallery with the Class 47s.  I had held off as I thought I might get round to scanning my Class 47 images from 80s & 90s but then reality set in.

In tow behind 47 749 were two very shiny YJB Heavy Duty Twin Jib Cranes, both built by Cowans Sheldon  After going to Bescot they were being sent down to Severn Tunnel Junction.  This all Colas rail liveried match up would have made a cracking shot in the daytime, alas I got the night shot.  I am not complaining though as they did look good.
