Low Plant Life

At last another update.  It’s been a busy few weeks with work and play.  A run of nights, then late turns meant that I did not have the energy to do much when I was away from work.  Once my long weekend came around I was determined to get out and get some pictures of some targets I have been after.  First up on the Friday was a trip to Tees Yard to see how it has changed since my last visit plus to see if there was a chance to photograph some wagons before they were cut up for scrap.  On the way up as I went past York North Sidings I noticed the FBAs that have been parked up there for a few years were viewable for once as the buddleia had died down in the winter.  I tried shooting them through the Voyager window but that was never going to work at speed through tinted windows.  Therefore on the Monday I went up to York again with a view to utilising some HSTs so I could shoot out of an open door window.

As you can see from the list above there are three wagons I have not linked to, this is because I can not positively identify them.  One of the wagons data panel is rusted through and the other two were still hidden by plant life.  From south to north the wagons are in the following order:

600000, 600009, 600021, 600006, 600003, 600015, unknown, 600012, 600002, 600008, 600005, 600018, 600022, 600014, unknown, unknown, 600001, 600023, 600013, 600004, 600020, 600010, 600019 & 600007

Also in this update I have uploaded images and underframe shots of FPA 400215 that I took at Mossend Yard on the 20th February 2012.

Another update tonight are the FNA nuclear flasks.  On nights I had a rare chance to shoot 6K51 21:09 Willesden Brent Yard to Crewe actually at a stand in the station.  I’ve only ever known this to happen once before and typically I was not on shift then but the next day everyone gleefully rubbed my nose in the fact that I had missed 3 x 37s and 5 flasks stood in the station for 10 minutes.  This time it was 2x37s and 2 flasks.
