Forgotten Loks

Well it seems I was a bit premature saying I had uploaded everything from 2013.  Whilst preparing the hard drive for 2014 I realised I had, for whatever reason not uploaded various locomotive groups, whilst others were missing the odd image from collections.

First up is one of the random missing from the collection shots.  To celebrate 175 years of German railways, is a Roco sponsored Class 183 operated by Alex.

Alex operated Eurosprinter ES 64 U4G number 183 001-7 sits at München Hbf on the evening of the 16th of December 2013

For some reason totally missing from the 2013 upload were all the Swiss registered locomotives.

Interregio Cargo branded Re 4/4 II, number 11320 with Re 6/6 11634 sits in Erstfeld station at the head of train number 67167 Huntwangen-Wil to Sigirino formed of Holcim hoppers on the 23rd of May 2013.

Some of the Swiss registered locomotives get to travel far and wide.  Coming round the curve at Köln Gremburg Yard under stormy skies in 2013 we have an example of a SBB Cargo Re 482, part of the Bombardier TRAXX 1 family of locomotives.

Bombardier TRAXX F140 AC1 number 482 001-5 heads north through Köln Gremburg Yard, Germany on the 10th of October 2013.

Another TRAXX variant uploaded is the Bombardier TRAXX F140 MS, part of the TRAXX 2 family.

Bombardier TRAXX F140 MS, Re 484, number 484 011-2 (E 484.011 SR) sweeps South through the reverse curves and cambers at Bellinzona station in Switzerland at the head of train number 43075 Duisburg Ruhrort Hafen to Busto A/Gallarate HUPAC Intermodal service.
